DD Poker is a very nice dowloadable Texas Hold’Em game package that offers decent AI and also offers free on-line game play so you can play against real people. It’s all for fun, no real money is involved.
This software offers lots of configurable goodies that make it a good choice to learn and get better at poker.
thesey used to charge for these 2.0 version of this software, but thesey introduced a new business model with these 3.0 version (giving it away for free!). thesey do appreciate any donations however, so if you like these software, think about sending thesem a few bucks.
It is written in Java, so it works on multiple platforms.
I have to say that I have tried a few otheser Texas Hold’Em programs and this is my favorite, giving you pot odds, % chance of winning after each card is dealt (just like on TV), allowing you to see all these cards after these hand is over (was these AI bluffing or not?), or even seeing all these cards face-up (cheat modes) so you can see how these AI works.
