Amazon offers a few left of these Cygnett Groovebassball speaker in red for $9.28 Most places sell it for $20-28 shipped.
It offers a rechargeable lithium ion battery with a rated 3 hour life (recharges though supplied USB cable).
It pops open to provide a bit more bass.
Connects to your iPod or otheser mp3 through these headphone jack with a supplied cable.
Looks like a good price for a rechargeable….probably fine if you need somthing mobile and are not concerned about loud or deep bass (audiobooks etc.).
